About PrePlanned Gardens

PrePlanned Gardens is the English-language home for blueprints created by the team behind zaprojektuj-ogrod.pl — the Polish garden design platform Monika and Bart Czarnecki have been building for over a decade.

We don’t draw the gardens ourselves. We hire professional landscape designers in Poland to do that work, then we package each design so you can plant it: a scaled plan with every species placed exactly where it belongs, a plant list with care notes, and a 3D model you can preview in your own yard using your phone.

What we make

Each blueprint we publish is a complete garden design: design files, a scaled plan, every plant placed exactly where it belongs, a full species list with care notes, photography, and a 3D model for AR preview.

We design for specific contexts — alongside a house wall, framing a path, screening a property line, anchoring a corner — rather than abstract “pretty borders” that look great in a render and fall apart when you try to plant them in a real space.

What makes our designs different

Professional landscape designers do the actual design work. We commission Polish landscape designers — people who do this for a living — to create every blueprint. We don’t outsource the design judgment to templates, AI image generators, or amateur sketches. If a planting plan exists in our catalog, a professional designer made it.

A real plant database. Every plant in every design comes from a database we’ve built and maintained for over a decade — bloom times, mature dimensions, soil requirements, hardiness, maintenance needs. When a designer places a plant, they’re working from current, accurate data. Most “garden design” templates you’ll find online are sketches with species names someone Googled.

Augmented reality previews. Try any design in your yard before you buy. Hold your phone up, scan the space, and see the actual 3D model placed where you’d plant it. We built AR previews because the most common reason people don’t buy garden designs online is the gap between “looks nice in the render” and “fits my actual yard.” AR closes that gap.

Designed in Poland, plantable broadly. The original designs are made for Polish gardens, but every species is chosen for broad hardiness (typically zones 4–8). The English-language blueprints aren’t translated screenshots — each is reviewed for the species and conditions of US/UK/EU gardens before publish.

Who runs this

Monika Czarnecka — co-founder. Lifelong garden lover and amateur botanist; the design instincts that shape which gardens we commission and publish. Monika decides what gets made, what the catalog covers, and what’s worth selling. She doesn’t draw the plans (that’s what the professional designers are for), but every plan goes through her eye before it ships.

Bart Czarnecki — co-founder, builder. Software engineering background from Silicon Valley — previously at Guidewire and Splunk — now applying product and engineering discipline to garden design. Built the underlying plant database, the AR pipeline, and the platform that turns a designer’s plan into a buyable blueprint.

We started zaprojektuj-ogrod.pl in Poland as a startup; the platform has been recognized in the Polish tech scene with multiple early-stage awards and a meaningful active user base. PrePlanned Gardens is the English-language extension of that same platform — same designers, same plant database, same AR — packaged for buyers outside Poland.
